01Who is required to carry out DGUV V3 inspections?
Basically all employers – regardless of sector or company size. The inspection obligation arises from §5 DGUV Regulation 3, the Industrial Safety Regulation (BetrSichV) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG). Companies under public accident insurance providers inspect according to DGUV V4. In the event of violations, management and the board are personally liable.
02What is specifically inspected during the inspection?
(1) Visual inspection for external damage, (2) measurement testing (protective conductor resistance, insulation resistance, if applicable leakage current) and (3) functional testing. For installations and machinery, we supplement the inspection with a thermographic analysis.
03Which equipment must be inspected?
Ortsveränderliche Geräte: Computer, Drucker, Mehrfachsteckdosen, Stehlampen, Kaffeemaschinen, Wasserkocher, Elektrowerkzeuge. Ortsfeste Anlagen: Elektroverteilungen, Raumbeleuchtungen, Steckdosen, Residual current circuit breakers, Klimaanlagen. Maschinen: Steuerschränke, Fräszentren, Extruder, Sägen, Pressen.
04What happens if defects are found?
Equipment that fails inspection is recorded as 'failed' and may no longer be operated. We offer an optional repair service. After repair, a new inspection and clearance is carried out.
05What inspection intervals apply?
Ortsveränderliche Geräte: alle 2 Jahre (Büro), jährlich (Produktion), alle 3 Monate (Baustelle). Ortsfeste Anlagen: alle 4 Jahre (VDE 0105-100). After repair oder Änderung: immer vor Wiederinbetriebnahme.
06What documentation do we receive?
A complete, court-admissible inspection report with all measured values (PS 3 Software, GMC-I). Excel export possible. Each piece of equipment receives a barcode label with the next inspection date.
07Do you also inspect nationwide?
Ja – unsere mobilen Prüfteams sind bundesweit im Einsatz. Universities, Industryfirmen und Foodproduzenten gehören zu unseren Stammkunden. Sprechen Sie uns auf Ihren Standort und Umfang an.
